PUBLIC TELEVISION PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Program Coordinator’s primary function is to schedule and organize the programming for the Public Access Television station’s Public, Education and Government Access channels. Automate the daily programming and ensure a smooth system for cable casting of programs and tapes. Serve as the central delivery point for all incoming programs to be scheduled on the channels, working with producers and “imported” program contacts. Work with volunteers on creating program proposals to be presented to station director. Schedules crew members and talent for recordings as necessary. Research and obtain additional programs and PSAs that are relevant to the community. Maintain a database of programs.
